It's a BOY!!!

Today we went to the doctor and found out that you're a BOY!!! Mommy was right! Get used to hearing that. :0) I wish I could have had a video of your Daddy's reaction. He had a complete look of shock and made a noise that I couldn't possibly replicate as he threw both hands over his mouth. I really thought he was going to fall out in the floor! Needless to say, we are THRILLED and can't wait to see you!!

Today you measured 19 weeks and 4 days and weighed about 10 oz. I'm only supposed to be 19 weeks along, but those things are hard to tell. You were so cute and kept putting your hands over your face like you were playing peek-a-boo. Everything is just perfect thus far! As far as we know, James Carter Dean, we'll be seeing you on May 25, 2010!!! I love you so much more than I can say, sweet boy!!!

Waiting for the news...

Well, my little love... this is the last night of mystery for Mommy and Daddy (hopefully!) Tomorrow we will find out if you are a boy or a girl. I have enjoyed getting to know you already and can't wait until I know if this is Carter or Lynlee who is always squirming around in my tummy. So far a few more people are thinking you're a boy than a girl. Mommy and Daddy are split. I think you just may be a boy and Daddy is thinking you're a girl. I guess we will find out for sure tomorrow!

I decided to make you your own blog page to help keep up with my pregnancy. Here are some important dates we've had so far...

September 12th - We found out you were going to join our family!! Sweet Baby Dean is on the way!!

October 7th - Mommy's first appointment... we got to see you! Your heartrate was 153 and we found out that you were 7 weeks and 1 day. You look like the sweetest little bean and your due date is May 25th.

November 19th - Mommy felt you move for the first time! What an amazing feeling!

December 15th - I got test results back from my AFP- they were negative... you're just PERFECT thus far!!

December 18th - Your Sissy Rylee was able to feel you moving and Daddy felt you soon after! I'm glad to be able to share the feeling with other people!

I can't wait to see you again tomorrow!! We love you!!
